Brierly in memory of Martha Faure Carson, a dance teacher in Denver, to provide a reference and research collection for the Rocky Mountain region covering all aspects of dance. Library name changed from Martha Carson Faure Dance Library to Carson-Brierly Dance Library in 1986. Collection currently resides in Penrose Library at the University of Denver as part of Special Collections.
