Thomas Clark lived in Henderson County, Texas, and signed a loyalty oath and voter registration in 1869.
Rev. Thomas Clark, M.D. came to New Perth, Charlotte County, New York (now Salem, Washington County, New York) in 1765 becoming the first pastor and founder of what became the United Presbyterian Congregation. He was also the first and only physician until 1773, having received his medical degree from the University of Glasgow, Scotland ca. 1751. Around 1765 he received from Oliver Delaney and Peter Dubois, 12,000 acres for emigrants from Ballibar, Northern Ireland where he had first preached in 1749.
