Biographical History

Writer and suffragist Caroline I. Reilly served as chairman of the Press Committee of the National American Woman Suffrage Association, and assistant to Anna Howard Shaw (AHS) on the Council of National Defense (1919). In 1921, CIR was executive secretary of the League of Women Voters in Washington, D.C.
