Biographical History

Antoinette Rangel was born and raised in the Bronx, in New York City. She attended Middlebury College on a full-tuition leadership merit-based scholarship through the Posse Foundation where she earned her degree in political science. After graduating, Antoinette studied at Northeastern University School of Law for one year before interning at the White House in the Office of Political Affairs in the fall of 2010. After hard work and dedication, her internship turned into an opportunity to work as a White House press assistant and wrangler – a position which gave her a front row seat to history, traveling across the country and the world with the White House press corps on Air Force One. After two and a half years working as a press assistant, she was promoted to Deputy Director of Hispanic Media and most recently was promoted to Special Assistant and Advisor to the Press Secretary. Antoinette is also currently finishing up her law degree in the evening program at Georgetown. Previously, Antoinette has worked on Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign as well as state and local campaigns. Antoinette is of Mexican, Cuban, Puerto Rican and Italian heritage. In her spare time, Antoinette enjoys running and yoga and also volunteers at a local women's homeless shelter.
