David M. Bullowa (1912-1953) of Philadelphia, was a numismatist and coin dealer whose primary interests were in commemorative coins and paper money.

David M. Bullowa (1912-1953) of Philadelphia, was a numismatist and coin dealer whose primary interests were in commemorative coins and paper money. He published The Commemorative Coinage of the United States: 1892-1938 (1938), and served as assistant editor of The Numismatist, the monthly magazine of the American Numismatic Association. He was a graduate of the Lincoln School of Columbia University’s Teachers College (1930) and the University of Wisconsin (1934). He was elected life fellow of the American Numismatic Society in 1936 and was inducted into the American Numismatic Association Hall of Fame in 1978.
