Biographical History
British public servant who was executed for treason and became a martyr in the revolt against British rule in Ireland.
Irish nationalist leader.
Civil servant and Irish nationalist.
Casement served in the British Foreign Service from 1892 to 1913. He joined the Irish Volunteers and tried to secure arms for them. When the Easter Rising broke out he was charged with treason and sentenced to death.
