Biographical History

Roger Allan Moore was an attorney who served as a legal assistant for the Attorney General of Massachusetts until 1956 when he joined the law firm of Ropes & Gray. In 1956 he served as the Executive Director of the Citizens for Eisenhower for the state of Massachusetts and in 1964 he was appointed parliamentarian to the Republican National Convention, a position he held until 1972. He also served as General Counsel to the Republican National Committee from 1981-1989, as General Counsel to the Republican National Convention in 1984 and 1988, as General Counsel to the Reagan-Bush campaign of 1984 and as General Counsel for the Goldwater for President campaign of 1964. In 1960 he was appointed as Chairman of the Board for National Review, Inc. Moore died in Boston, Massachusetts on June 4, 1990.
