The Grapestake Gallery, opening with an Ansel Adams' retrospective in 1974, was established by Ursula Gropper, Thomas V. Meyer and their father, Otto Meyer, retired board chairman of Paul Masson Vineyards. Grapestake, which closed in 1984, was located at 2876 California Street, San Francisco, California. Exhibitions concentrated on contemporary California painters, sculptors and 20th century American photographers.
