Biographical History

Sculptor, monumental stone sculptor, bronze, and woodcuts. Born in Berlin, East Germany in 1889. Taught at School of Applied Art, Bauhaus, Halle and Hamburg. Last of Germany's three "Expressionist" sculptors.
