Biographical History

Borth was a newspaper columnist who moved to Parshallville in 1938. Copies of her book are in both the Park Library and the Clarke Historical Library. Isaac Parshall (1798-1858) married Seraphina Luther (d. 1871) on April 13, 1825. A miller in Chemung (N.Y.), Parshall moved to Penn. in 1828 and to Mich. in 1858. The town of Parshallville was named in his honor. (Information from the speech).
