The firm name changes during the period covered by this volume. From the beginning of the book (December 1852) through May 1854, the name Parker, Jennison & Co. is used. From June 1854 through August 1858, the documents in this letterbook are signed Greenwood, Jennison & Co. Finally, W. Greenwood & Co., Templeton, Worcester Co., MA, appears to have begun operating in September 1858. Through it all, the company's focus remains making chairs. The principals were Walter Greenwood, and Charles Jennison.
