Biographical History

Kenneth Hooper (b. 1892 at Beckenham, Kent), a Lieutenant, 3rd Battalion, East Lancashire Regiment, was wounded at Le Cateau on 26 Aug. 1914 and held as a POW (Prisoner of War) at Halle, Augustabad, Ingolstadt, and Ludwigshafen. He was interned at Bloemendaal, Holland, in Jan. 1918. Subsequently he became a major.
