Biographical History
Huntington was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Missouri in 1838, served a mission to both the Eastern States and England. Traveled the Mormon Trail and eventually lived in Grantsville and Provo, Utah.
Born in Watertown, New York. Baptized by Hyrum Smith and served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ohio, Inidana, New York, and Kentucky. Served in the church as the Sunday School superintendent.
Mormon pioneer, schoolteacher and beekeeper. Huntington served two missions for the Church and crossed the plains twice to Utah.

Oliver Boardman Huntington (1823-1907) was a Mormon pioneer, explorer, missionary, and diarist.
Oliver Boardman Huntington was born in Watertown, Jefferson County, New York in 1823. When his father joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church in 1835, his family relocated to Kirtland, Ohio. Following this move, Huntington and his family continued to move across the country with the Church, finally establishing themselves in Utah. Huntington was ordained an elder in the Latter-day Saint Church in 1843 and served a mission to the western state of New York. He later served a mission in 1846 to England.
In Utah, Huntington worked as a farmer, schoolteacher, miner, and beekeeper. He settled with his family in Springville, Utah where he remained active in the Church. He died in Springville on February 7, 1907.
