Biographical History

Donald Adams Fowle was born in Woburn, MA on May 24, 1889. He attended Rindge Technical School, the Massachusetts School of Art and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Fowle was a Woburn resident and prominent architect who became the Chief Architect for the Federal Housing Administration in Boston during the Roosevelt Administration. His parents were Arthur Adams Fowle (Managing Editor at the Boston Globe) and Kate Wallace Munn. He married Ethel Adelaide Wallace and they had four children: Nancy Andree, Joan, Arthur Adams and Donald Wallace.
