Southern Baptist clergyman and long time professor of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.
1859-1895, professor, 1889-1895, president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
1858, Broadus was pastor of Charlottesville Baptist Church (Charlottesville, Va.). In 1859, became professor of homiletics and interpretation of the New Testament and in 1889, president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
