Biographical History

Donald Beauregard was a young developing artist resident in Santa Fe and was chosen to do murals in various federal buildings in Santa Fe. He died of cancer before they were completed.

Beauregard, a protege of Frank Springer of the Museum of New Mexico, studied art in Europe and was scheduled to paint murals in the Museum of Fine Arts in Santa Fe after it was built. Due to failing health, Beauregard returned to his family in Utah where he died of cancer.
