Biographical History
Buffalo mayor, superior court judge, and regent of the State University of New York.
Born in Brooklyn 13 Apr. 1807. Son of DeWitt Clinton; grandnephew of George Clinton. Graduated from Hamiton College in 1825; moved to Buffalo in 1836. Served as mayor of Buffalo, 1842-1843.
George W. Clinton was son of New York State Governor Dewitt Clinton. He was Mayor of Buffalo, New York and later a New York State Court Judge.
