Biographical History
Douglas Arendt served three years with the Army and five years with the National Guard, and his service duties included humanitarian aid to the Virgin Islands and guarding a prisoner of war camp in Kuwait during Operation Desert Storm.
He was discharged at the rank of Sergeant E5 and returned to Grafton (Wisconsin). After the war, Arendt became a school music teacher and credits singing in the deserts of Saudi Arabia for causing him to pursue that career.
