The Radcliffe Asian American Women's Group (formerly known as the Radcliffe Asian Women's Group) was formed in 1978 to address issues facing Asian women and to develop leadership and organizational skills of its members. It formed part of the Harvard/Radcliffe Asian American Association. The group was disbanded in 1988.
In 1978, the Radcliffe Asian Women's Group was formed to increase awareness of Asian issues at Harvard-Radcliffe. The group was later called Radcliffe Asian American Women's Group, and in 1993 became the Association of Radcliffe Asian Americans. The group was connected with Harvard-Radcliffe Asian American Association. Activities of the group included workshops on Asian American history, identity, and stereotypes, dramatic productions, discussion groups, and an annual journal, "Of Woven Strands."
