Biographical History
Benjamin M. Read was a historian and lawyer, who served as a New Mexico legislator.
Read was the secretary for the New Mexico Commission of Revision of the Laws of New Mexico in 1908, and collected a considerable quantity of material concerning the history of New Mexico and it is now at the New Mexico State Archives in Santa Fe.
