Bell, Cari, 1982-

Bell was born in Provo, Utah, but lived in seventeen different places in the United States thereafter. Because she is a Latter-day Saint who has been immersed in many cultures where Latter-day Saints are not prevalent, she became interested in the difference between LDS social culture-which frowns on drinking-and non-LDS culture-which condones it.

Bell was born in Provo and moved seventeen times while she was growing up, residing in six different states including Arizona, Texas, California, Florida, Maryland, and Tennessee. She was preparing to graduate from Brigham Young University. Bell enjoyed gardening and sports.
