Biographical History

Linda Phillips studied piano at the University of Melnourne with Edward Goll and composition at the Albert Street Conservatorium with Fritz Hart. As a composer she has written chiefly chamber music and songs, a number of which have been published and recorded. From 1950 to 1977 she was music critic for the Sun-News Pictorial in Melbourne. Linda Phillips was awarded an OBE in 1975.
