The CES Libraries Consortium (1996-2004) coordinated the activities of the Church Educational System's archives and libraries.
The CES Libraries Consortium was established in 1996 to coordinate the activities of the the college and university libraries that were a part of the Church Education System of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When other non-academic libraries and archives affiliated with the Church Educational System began to participate in the consortium, the names was changed to the Consortium of Church Libraries and Archives in 2004.
The Consortium of Church Libraries and Archives (est. 2004) coordinates the activities of the Church Educational System's archives and libraries.
The Consortium of Church Libraries and Archives (CCLA) was created in an expansion of the earlier CES Libraries Consortium in 2004. The group includes representatives of the libraries and archives at Brigham Young University, Brigham Young University-Idaho, Brigham Young University-Hawaii, the LDS Business College, and J. Reuben Clark Law School, as well as from the Church Education System, Church History Library, the Gospel Library, and the Family History Library. The organization is charged with facilitating resource sharing between institutions as well as assisting with other services.
