Biographical History

Captain Frederick Felton was an American staff officer for court at Nuremberg Trials. Trials held following World War II by victorious allies (Britain, France, United States and Soviet Union) to indict prominent Nazis for conventional crimes, as well as crimes against peace and humanity. Much controversy resulted over issues of ex post facto liability and responsibility of subordinates for acts ordered by superiors.
