Biographical History
James Galloway (born in 1834) in fact had no middle name. He used a middle initial "H" or possibly the name "Hezlep" (his mother's maiden name) in order to get his mail properly delivered in the California Sierra Nevada gold camps in the 1850s and 1860s.
