Multilingual publishing project that was a subsidiary of the Ford Foundation, headed by New Directions publisher, James Laughlin. Personnel connected with the project included poets Hayden Carruth as projects administrator, 1952-1953, and part-time administrator in 1954; Edouard Roditi, as supervisor of translators, translations editor for Perspectives, U.S.A., and later as a free-lance contributor; and Delmore Schwartz, as an editor and contributor.
