Biographical History

George W. Dupree, who obtained a law degree at the University of Texas, opened his first law office with Charles C. Crenshaw at Hillsboro, Texas, in 1917. In 1928 they relocated in Lubbock with W. H. Bledsoe. Co- founded the Sanders Sunday School in 1929. Was a leading businessman and civic leader as well as a criminal attorney. Married Sarah Hunt in 1916 and had two sons. Died Jan. 30, 1973, in Lubbock.
