Commissioned by the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies of Minneapolis/St. Paul in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Charter of the United Nations.--Cf. Fleisher Collection.
Commissioned 1996 by the Augsburg College Music Department "in celebration of musical collaborations." Composed 1996-97. First performance Minneapolis, Minnesota, 20 April 1997, the Passion for Life Orchestra, Augsburg Jazz Band and Choir, and the Masterworks Chorale of Augsburg, Peter Hendrickson conductor.--Cf. Inspired by the myth of Penelope and Odysseus. Composed 1994. First performance Saint Paul, Minnesota, 6 November 1994, Saint Paul Civic Symphony, Edouard Forner conductor.--Cf. Fleisher Collection.
