William H. Trimble was born in 1902 in Hogansville, Georgia, to William A. and Lina (Brazell) Trimble. He had a sister, Florence (1899-1998) who married Dr. Grover Jones of Macon, Georgia. William H. Trimble enrolled at Emory University in 1919 where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and began studying medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School in 1923. He also studied at Atlanta Medical School in Atlanta, Georgia, and at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He practiced medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, for over twenty-five years. A member of the Emory Unit from Atlanta, Georgia, in World War II, Trimble was stationed in North Africa from 1943-1945. Trimble married Grace Fincher and had three children: Ann, William, and Grace. He died at age 52 on July 26, 1955 in Atlanta, Georgia. Additional biographical information about William H. Trimble has not been determined.
