Henry Lunt (1824-1902) was baptized into the Mormon Church in Birmingham, England in 1849. He came to Utah the following year and volunteered to go with settlers to Iron County. In 1851 he was called as to be the captain of the company that founded Cedar City. Later from 1854-1857 Lunt went on a mission to England.
