Biographical History

John Harold Sides was born April 22, 1904, in Roslyn, Washington. He received his commission as Ensign in the U.S. Navy in 1925, and advanced to the rank of admiral in 1960. He is known for planning and developing the Regulus, the first cruise missile. Sides died on April 3, 1978.
