Nils O. Ohman (b. 1914, Stockholm, Sweden-d. July 17, 1993), U.S. Air Force officer, graduated from West Point in 1937 and received his pilot wings the following year. During World War II, he flew 34 B-17 combat missions in Italy as commander, 97th Bombardment Group. He then flew 46 combat missions in Korea, serving as commander, 3rd Bombardment Wing. He served for nine years as a Strategic Air Command wing and division commander, followed by an assignment as senior Air Force member, military studies and liaison, Weapons Systems Evaluation Group, in Washington, D.C., from 1961 to 1964. He was also deputy chief of staff, Technical Training, Air Training Command, and later, vice commander, Air Training Command. In the late 1960s, he became commander, HQ Command, U.S. Air Force, Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C. He retired in 1972.
