William C. Dixon (b. 1904), a career lawyer, was Chief of the Los Angeles office of the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice from 1948 to 1954.
Dixon (b. 1904) was an antitrust lawyer with the U.S. Department of Justice from 1944-1954 and was later an assistant attorney general for the state of California. He was a member of the constitutional commission for the United Church of Christ, which was formed in 1957 by the union of Congregational Christian Churches with Evangelical and Reformed Churches. Dixon was a member of the United Church of Christ Board for Homeland Ministries from 1964-1967 and served on regional and local church committees in southern California.
