Biographical History

Frederick earned a master's degree in economics from Princeton University, and graduated from Harvard Law School in 1908. He practiced law in New York City, was a member of the 1920 U.S. Olympic Pistol and Revolver team, the American Olympic Committee and the National Rifle Association. He was a founder and president of the New York State Conservation Council. His conservation activities focused on the Adirondack Mountain region of New York State.
