Biographical History
Marshall Bouldin is a successful portrait artist from Mississippi. He began his formal training at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. After World War II, he apprenticed at a studio of commercial artists in Chicago and later in Connecticut. He opened his own studio in New York before returning to his family's Mississippi plantation. However, he eventually rented out the farming and concentrated full-time on portrait art. He has traveled throughout the United States painting and has been recognized with numerous awards from the art community.
