Biographical History

Andrew J. Stone, gold seeker, came to California from Dunbarton, NH, in 1852. He traveled on the steamship "Northern Light" to Nicaragua, crossed the isthmus, and continued to journey on the steamship "Lewis," arriving in San Francisco after a journey of sixty-three days.
