Educator, writer, and dramatist; in 1931, director of the Rebecca Dial Studio Players at Institute of Musical Art (Washington, D.C.); taught at Clemson Opportunity School [ca. 1930s?]; later host of "Fun With Books" (1960), a children's television show broadcast on station WMAL (Washington, D.C.) author of radio scripts; daughter of Nathaniel Barksdale Dial (1862-1940), a native of Laurens, S.C., who served as U.S. Senator from South Carolina, 1919-1925.
