The Australian Booksellers Association is the umbrella body that has been representing the interests of booksellers in Australia since the early 1900s. The ABA has strong links with other industry bodies including the Australian Publishers Association, the Australian Society of Authors and the Printing Industry Association of Australia.
The Australian Booksellers' Association was founded in 1924 as an organisation to co-ordinate and encourage the growing bookselling trade.
