Biographical History
Geneviève Tabouis was a French journalist known for accurately forecasting events in pre-World War II Europe. The niece of a French ambassador, her diplomatic ties helped her establish a reputation as a journalist in Geneva. In 1932, as foreign news editor for the journal L'Ouevre, she began predicting the German timetable of aggression with startling accuracy. She fled occupied France for New York, where she established the weekly magazine Pour la Victoire. She returned to France after the war, working as a journalist and publishing several monographs with historical themes.
