Thompson Crowell (fl. 1821-1836) was a general store owner in Rahway, in Union County, New Jersey.
Hat maker, of Rahway, New Jersey, who evidently conducted business in that portion of the city which was transferred in 1860 from Middlesex County to Union County; advertised in 1825 that he was located "in Rahway, on the main street from the Presbyterian Church to Bridge Town, where he keeps a general assortment of men's, youth's and children's water proof HATS, which he will sell low for cash, or country produce;" may correspond to the Thompson Crowell whose will was filed for probate in Middlesex County in 1853.
Thompson Crowell was a hat maker when this volume was kept and later appears to have owned a general store in Rahway, N.J.
