Biographical History

Robert P. Mildon was born in 1947 in Houghton, Michigan and graduated from Houghton High School. He was employed by the Upper Peninsula Power Company as an electrician before becoming a free-lance writer for the Daily Mining Gazette, the local daily newspaper in Houghton County. He was also the owner, publisher, and editor of Keweenaw Publishing, producing "Guide to Michigan's Copper Country," with local articles by Clarence Monette and Jean Petermann Kemp.
