Biographical History
A teacher and librarian, Isabel M. Gaddis was a student and long-time friend of Texas folklorist, humorist, and scholar, J. Frank Dobie (1888-1964). She meticulously collected his works over her lifetime. With Dobie, she co-edited a collection of his short stories, I'll Tell You a Tale.
