Biographical History

Art historian and educator; Princeton, New Jersey.

Hunter has taught at Princeton since 1969. He has worked in many capacities for Harry N. Abrams, Inc., including editor-in-chief, 1971-72. He has curated and consulted for museum exhibitions at several institutions including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Minneapolis Art Institute and the Princeton Art Museum. Larry Rivers is a contemporary painter known for his life-size portraits.
