Biographical History

Louise E. Dew (1871-1962), an American writer, editor and literary agent, began her career working in Chicago as a reporter and editor on special assignments for a variety of newspapers and magazines. She moved to New York City in the 1900s and continued writing, editing and acting as an agent for many authors. Her published works in the 1930s and 1940s were mostly romantic fiction.
