Biographical History

Surgeon.

Corrigan worked in South America for the American College of Surgeons in the 1920s; later held diplomatic posts there, including United States Ambassador to Venezuela, 1939-1945. Corrigan was also United States delegate to the first World Health Organization meeting in 1948.
