Biographical History

Richard J. Wolfe was the curator of rare books and manuscripts in The Francis A. Countway Library of Medicine at Harvard University and the Joseph Garland Librarian of the Boston Medical Library. He has written on the subjects of early American music publishing, nineteenth-century color printing, the book arts, and marbled paper. He is the author of Marbled paper, its history, techniques and patterns (1990). Paul McKenna is the author of A History and bibliography of the Roycroft Printing Shop .
