Army officer and business executive.

Harbord was a Major General and commanded the Services of Supply of the American Expeditionary Forces in France during World War I. He became Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army from 1921-22. As a civilian, he became president of the Radio Corp of America (RCA) and resided in Rye, N.Y. He died in 1947.
