Nason was a Massachusetts schoolmaster, writer, lecturer, and Congregational cleryman.
Elias Nason (1811-1887) was at various times in his life an editor, writer, teacher, public lecturer, and Congregational minister. He graduated from Brown University in 1835. Nason wrote many books and pamphlets on topics of New England history and biography.
