Founded as a quarterly in 1970 by William Ransom. Based in Reno, Nevada. Member of the Coordinating Council of Literary Magazines. Later published and edited by poets William Lyman Fox and Bruce McAllister. Focus on experimental forms in typography, conceptual art, and writing; with some interest in concrete poetry and translations. Printed by R. W. Stovall Printing, Inc. (Reno); typeset by Nevada Typesetting. Contributors included: Eugene Guillevic, Pablo Neruda, Andre Pieyre de Mandiargues, Francois Dodat, Douglas Blazek, Ron Arias, Greg Kuzma, Deena Metzger, William Stafford, Richard Kostelanetz, Hugh Fox, Joanne de Longchamps, Aaron Marcus, William Lyman Fox and Bruce McAllister.
