Harvard graduate, WWI soldier, Chicago lawyer, Dean of the John Marshall Law School and Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives . Son of Edward T. Lee a founder and 35 year Dean of the John Marshall Law School. Member of the Advisory Council on Degree Granting Institutions for over 20 years and chairman for ten. Member of the Illinois Public Employees Pension Law Commission. Lived in Hyde Park, Ill. with Gertrude, his wife and their four children.
Illinois state representative (Republican) from fifth district (1941-1956), twenty-third district (1957-1966), and twenty-fourth district (1967-1968); dean of John Marshall Law School (1944-1974). Member of Public Employees Pension Laws Commission (1955-1968); a founder of New Legislators's Dinners program.
